The service and food are consistently great, and you always know what to expect. The ambiance is a bit formal but not stuffy. I highly rate this place not for its uniqueness, but for the consistent quality of the food and service they provide. It's my go-to spot for business dinners. Just a heads up, it can get pretty expensive if you're the host. :)"

Super cute place with gourmet options. I had the steaks and eggs and my friend had lobster with short ribs. Eggs were over cooked in both dishes but everything was delicious. The Bloody Mary was fantastic if you're in the mood for one. We enjoyed the ambience. The only recommendation I have is to turn the music down a little. The service was excellent.

This restaurant is a gem and so was our server, Gabriel. The atmosphere is very upscale art deco with gorgeous chandeliers and large, picture windows with great views of the city. The meal was perfection from the freshly baked sourdough bread to the grouper entree and chocolate peanut butter cake. The drinks were delicious with ocean prime's special twist on some popular recipes. Loved everything!

Nice place for a business dinner for a group of 8-10. Several sushi appetizers for the spot. Entrées chiffres mainly is seafood and meat fare, all with good presentation and generous portions. Desserts were shareable size and I in think I was about to try a tablespoon of each of the warm butter cake, layered carrot cake, and chocolate peanut butter cake -- all of which were moist and scrumptious for the few bites I rewarded myself with.

Happy Hour Review! This has to be the best HH in the city. Came here on a Friday and surprised how it's not busy and easy to get a table. The waiter we got was really nice and kept the drinks coming before the Half off drinks ends at 6:30pm. The food was delicious. We got dozen fresh oysters, steak tartare, lamb and calamari. There's this really lavender drink I forgot the name but was dangerously refreshing.

Back for another delightful meal. They have a nice big space with nice design in a building I used to work in. As good as the food is the service is outstanding. Ask for Charlie and Daren's section. They greatly increased our enjoyment. I judge a restaurant by their bread and it was hard to throttle down my eating of the bread and pretzel rolls. We brought our own wine for a $30 corkage fee. The wine by the glass is expensive. We shared the Hamachi Crudo which was in a spicy sauce. We used the bread to soak it all up! My wife had the tuna tartare which was large enough for her entree. I had the sea bass special which was light and flakey. The food and atmosphere made in a wonderful night!

Stopped in during restaurant week before a show at the Chicago theater. The ambiance was beautiful. Nice location by the river and the inside is really nice. Definitely good for a date night. The food was delicious! Started with the house salad that had goat cheese, green apple and walnuts. The salad was so fresh and well balanced. The next course I went with the sea scallops with risotto with their recommended white wine. The sea scallops had a perfect crust and the inside was so tender and buttery. The risotto was creamy and tasty. The onion on top added a great extra flavor profile. For dessert I went with the carrot cake. It was a little dry, but overall tasty. The service was great, but also a little slow. Dinner took over two hours for 2 people even though we ordered right away. It was an early dinner so it wasn't too full either. Our waitress was so great though so we didn't mind.

She was very attentive and gave great suggestions. I went for restaurant week and so happy I did. They had a great menu with plenty of options to choose from. I can't wait to go back.
